I know I've been absent for a while. It's been a crazy-busy couple of months, but that's a story for another post! Today, however, I want to share what I've spent months working on: A 100% ONLINE Equine Assisted Personal Development and Learning Certification.
Are you ready to explore the transformative experience that combines personal development, learning, and the magical bond between humans and horses? Look no further than Plantation Pandemonium's innovative Equine Assisted Personal Development and Learning (EAPD/L) program. In this blog post, we will explore the fascinating world of EAPD/L, the powerful benefits of equine-assisted therapeutic and coaching techniques, and provide you with a glimpse into my program through sample business forms and a session planning guide.
Equine Assisted Personal Development and Learning (EAPD/L) is a dynamic approach to personal growth and learning that involves partnering with horses. Unlike traditional therapy or coaching sessions, EAPD/L harnesses the wisdom, intuition, and gentle nature of horses to facilitate self-discovery, emotional healing, and personal development. By engaging in experiential activities with horses, participants gain profound insights, develop essential life skills, and enhance their overall well-being.
The Benefits of Equine Assisted Therapeutic and Coaching Techniques:
1. Non-judgmental Reflection: Horses are incredibly sensitive and perceptive animals. Through their silent observation, they mirror our emotions and provide non-judgmental feedback. This allows participants to gain valuable insights into their own behaviors, thoughts, and emotions.
2. Emotional Healing: Interacting with horses promotes emotional healing by fostering a sense of trust, empathy, and connection. Horses inherently respond to human emotions, helping individuals process and release buried emotions, trauma, and stress.
3. Cognitive Development: Through various exercises with horses, participants enhance their problem-solving, communication, leadership, and decision-making skills. These experiences provide a hands-on learning opportunity for personal growth and development.
4. Self-Awareness and Authenticity: Horses have an uncanny ability to detect incongruence between a person's body language, tone, and intention. By working with horses, participants develop self-awareness, learn to align their thoughts, feelings, and actions, and cultivate authenticity in their interactions.
In addition to the above, you receive access to the following:
Sample Business Forms:
To ensure a safe and organized EAPD/L experience, I've included sample business forms that I personally use at my farm to help participants understand and adhere to important rules and regulations. Your forms will be unique to your farm needs. These forms include a liability release, photo release and stable rules.
Sample Lesson/Session Guide:
Plantation Pandemonium believes in personalized and well-structured EAPD/L sessions to maximize the benefits for each participant. The session plans gives an overview of the activities, goals, and desired outcomes for each session to help you as you learn to structure your sessions. This helps facilitators tailor the experience to individual needs and ensures a purposeful and engaging session.

Lastly, I wanted to share two of lesson plans FREEBEES from my new 38-page mounted and dismounted lesson plan book! It's not yet available for sale, so you're getting a sneaky peek!! You may use them as you like, but please do not sell them!
These lesson plans are geared toward independent, mounted, juvenile riders, but can easily be tailored to accommodate riding camp, homeschool groups, special needs riders with side walkers or lead lines, and even made a ton of fun for adult groups who are doing team building exercises!
Social/emotional and physical objectives are outlined, and I even left a few lines so the clinician can make notes about things they observed, or ways they altered the game to specific needs.
If you decide to use these lessons, please let me know how they work for you! I'd love to have your feedback! Message me at plantationpandemonium@gmail.com.
